India defeated Sri Lanka by 39 runs in the one-off T20 micromax cup international in Pallekele on 7 Aug 2012.
After winning toss India scored 155/3,Lankans were bowled out for a more 116 runs ,Virat Kohli scored 68 runs while Ashok Dinda picked up 4 wickets for 19 runs for the Indians. Angelo Mathews made 31 for Sri Lanka.
