Former Chief Minister of the Sabaragamuwa Province Maheepala Herath (UPFA) polled the highest number of preferential votes among all candidates in Sabaragamuwa province(Sri Lanka Provincial council election 2012)...--> Mr. Maheepala Herath topped the list with 84,223 votes. In second place is UPFA ’s Kanchana Jayaratne ( 64,003 votes)
