Sri Lanka won the 4th ODI by 7 wickets against New Zealand at Hambantota chasing down 131 runs (with 34 balls remaining)D/L method.New Zealand made a total of 131/8 in 32 overs.
Jeevan Mendis took three quick wickets as Sri Lanka restricted New Zealand to 131-8 in the fourth one-day international.
Dinesh Chandimal who was promoted as the opener top scored for Sri Lanka with a patient knock of 43 runs from 65 ball. Kumar Sangakkara to added unbeaten 42 runs with five fours and a six. With this win, Sri Lanka lead the 5-match ODI series 3-0.
The fifth one-day international will be played in Hambantota on 12th Nov 2012.
